spider-MAN

HI! remember me? I'm back. lol. anyways I thought it would be cool to draw my own version of spider-man... A older, more fucked up spider-man. I'm thinking late 50's. I plan on doing my own take on other super heroes as well. as always I hope you like it and I'll see you next post

Hey you know, I had this idea too to make these well known superheros in my own version. I came across a guy's painting that really inspired me so thought to share it with you. Its an oil painting from the great Steven Assael:

  14. Hey D! Welcome back buddy, we missed u!! :D
Whoa... dude this is genious... you know what?? this reminds me of the "el tenebroso", that awesome technique used by the mighty Caravaggio - one of teh most famous paintours from the italian Barroque period. He used vibrant red and sometimes blue over very dark backgrounds :)

  19. This is GREAT. I've always loved the idea of a "worn out" realistic superhero. I mean really, these guys have got to be sick of the gig and they've taken a beating for years.

    Awesome work!

  24. Sick dude! I like the scar! No way a dude with out healing powers is able to swing threw NYC for 30-40 years with out getting close-lined a few times eh? ;)

He kind of looks like an older Daniel Craig.
